I’m so thankful I found Betsy and Twin Cities Voice Co.! I’ve always loved to sing, but not my voice. Because of my embarrassment, I was always too nervous to take lessons. Finally, after reaching out to several studios, I chose Betsy because she is so approachable. Lessons are the quickest half hour of my week and she uses a really cool app that allows me to practice between lessons. In addition to being an encouraging and enthusiastic educator, she is clearly an expert in voice and music in general. I wish I would have would’ve had the courage to seek her out years ago!

Lessons with Betsy are energy-filled and so much fun! We work on both vocal technique and performance with all different kinds of music. I love how personalized each lesson is to what I want to work on from solos to auditions to performances galore!

Betsy is a walking encyclopedia of vocal pedagogy and worth every penny! Now to explain: I am a professional accompanist that has observed and participated in many, many vocal lessons. But always from behind the piano. 2 months ago, I started vocal lessons of my own with Betsy to sort out the good from the bad techniques that I have absorbed over a 20+ year career. Absolutely worth it! A hour long lesson goes by in a blink of an eye with giggles and gabs and growth.

I have taken lessons with Keira since 2020 via video call. I was already a confident and competent singer when I started and I have been astounded by the growth I have experienced over the last 4 years. The work we've done on my upper register has been phenomenal.

I have been a regular student of Keira’s since I was about 16, I am now almost 19.
Keira has truly changed my life, not only as a performer but as a person. I am currently going to college to pursue a career in musical theater, and I can confidently say that Keira is a huge reason why I decided to pursue this path! I’ve always had a love for music but I didn’t always have the vocal confidence I have now. Keira has helped me prepare for so many auditions for shows, and improve and strengthen me for those shows! My performance ability is 10x stronger than it was when I first started.
